Today, the Seventeenth Day of May, Is Norway's Constitution Day

....And I'm Clueless As To Why People Still Celebrate It

I am re-publishing its post on its one year anniversary.

During the winter of 1813 and 1814 the most powerful men in Norway were gathered at a place called Eidsvold to draft Norway’s constitution. That same year Denmark lost Norway as a colony, and Norway joined Sweden in a union that lasted until June 7, 1905. Norway then became a sovereign nation state for the first time since the late fourteenth century.

Fast forward to 1972. Now there was a referendum on whether or not Norway should join the European Union (which was not its name at that time), and the vote was a resounding NO! The result was political upheaval. The disappearance of one party, the splitting of at least one, and the renaming of another. The population was also split in two almost as bad as the US post 2016.

It took the globalists two decades to muster another attempt at getting Norway to join, so in 1994 there was a new referendum with the same result. The difference was that we then had the gung ho globalist prime minister by the name of Gro Harlem Bruntland.

While the entire population of Norway was busy debating whether or not Norway should be a member of the European Union, she and her compadres were busy drafting a deal with the EU in Brussels that would make Norway a de facto member regardless of the result of the referendum. She actually dragged Norway ass first into the union without consent, and thereby rendering both the constitution and the referendum null and void.

On January one, 1995 Norway joined what is called the European Economic Cooperation, and today Norway is more compliant with the EU than many member countries. To top it off Norway is one of its largest financial contributors. Gro Harlem Bruntland was rewarded for her efforts with a stint as head of the World Health Organization of all places, when her term as P.M. was done. I have learned a lot about the WHO since I first published this post, but I won’t get into that here.

What Quisling did resulted in Norway being held as a Nazi hostage for five years. By comparison that is nothing to the now almost thirty years since the last time Norway had a reason to celebrate its sovereignty. The idiocy in all of this is that the most ardent EU supporters here celebrate this day as if our constitution and sovereignty still actually mean something.

On a slightly different note, but equally Orwellian…… Now the number one dictatorial bitch in Brussels, Ursula Von Der Leyen, among many others, are calling for a halt to the celebration of the defeat of Nazi-ism in Europe on the 8th day of May in 1945. In my mind this equates with pandering to Nazi-ism. When you look at why they want to stop celebrating what Americans call V.E. Day, it becomes glaringly obvious for two reasons.

1. On said day about 53 weeks ago Vladimir Putin made a point of it in his speech to the Russian people that no country had sacrificed more than Russia did to defeat Nazi-ism. The globalists in the district of criminals, on Wall St., in the City of London and in Brussels can no longer sweep that fact under the rug. The only thing left to do then, in order to discredit Russia, is to pander to Nazi-ism by not celebrating that day.

2. Their worship of, and devotion to Volodymyr Zelensky and all his Nazi cohorts in the Ukraine.

That begs two questions.

1. Am I the only one in this country who can see this?

2. Is everybody here propagandized to the point of blindness?

(Sigh)

Today, on the seventeenth day in May of 2024 something remarkable happened, or should I say didn’t happen. This is the first day this year where there has been a blue sky with virtually no clouds from sunrise on. The few clouds up there are small enough that if you strech out your arm you could cover them with your thumb. In the past week the stratospheric aerosol injection has been at an extreme level. Probably to compensate for not doing any today, is my guess.
