Another one of these "coincidences" is how many experts were available for commentary that day, and how they all pointed the finger in one direction: Osama Bin Laden, and an organization that at least I had never heard of before, Al Quaida.
Yet another strange "coincidence" surrounding 9/11 was the case of John P. O'Neill. He had studied the 1993 attack on the WTC, and he knew more about terrorism than most people in the FBI.
During the months and weeks prior to 9/11 he warned his superiors about increased activity surrounding known terror suspects. This raised a red flag, and to make a long story short it ended with his resignation from the bureau.
Not long after he found a new job as the head of security at, wait for it.................. Yes, The World Trade Center. Not only that, but his first day on the job was Tuesday, September 11, 2001. He never came home from work that day.
Yet another strange "coincidence" was that a white van with two sky scrapers and an airplane panted on its side was stopped on the Washington Bridge in New York City that day. Inside the van were five guys about thirty years of age.
New Jersey police had alerted the NYPD to be on the lookout for five Arab looking guys that had been observed dancing and high-fiving while watching the smoke pour out of the two towers on the horizon before getting into a white van and disappearing.
When apprehended it turned out they were not Arabs, but Israelis. Five weeks later these five guys were released. They returned to Israel where they appeared on a popular TV show and explained that they were in New York to document the event................
Even stranger is the "coincidence" regarding the whereabouts of George Herbert Walker Bush on the morning of 9/11/2001. He had landed a cushy job at the Carlysle Group, and was negotiating a contract for the sale of weapons to Saudi Arabia.
Who was the other party in these negotiations? Why, the Bin Laden family, of course.
Immediately after the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon the entire planet was declared a no fly zone. In spite of that declaration there were two airplanes that took off from JFK in NYC. One was an El Al airliner with an unknown passenger list. While it isn't hard to imagine, I will refrain from speculating on that here.
The other of the two airborne planes that day was bound for Riyadh. On board were Osama Bin Laden's relatives after having finished off the negotiations with George Herbert Walker Bush.
