Your fears are justified. Substack is very compartmentalized, so as long as I have only a small audience of five subscribers I am no threat to the powers that shouldn't be. As the word gets out what I'm pointing at the temperature will increase.

Dis you read my open letter to Caitlin johnstone?

As far as Matt Taibbi goes I unsubscribed to him. He and Greenwald have made limited hangouts their specialty. Please read the post I have written on that method of propagandizing.

No. I won't. You are just paranoid. I don't know how to do tech things up to speed. I am very primitive, so I don't know how to "use Twitter effectively" etc. I do not have that type of intelligence, I never got an advanced degree, so I do not do things very well. But I surmize, Israhell, that a so-called limited hangout is probably just some American thing and Americans are doing it and there is a little problem there maybe, I don't know. I don't even know what it is but I reckon it is something Americans do innocently enough and here you are getting your little head all in a huff.

Whatever. I'm not going to waste my time trying to convince you in any way.

No. Of course not. Who welded Engdahl and Israhell together? It was not me.

As for my reading your letter to Caitlin: do you want me to desist from doing another "comment"? Because I would be glad to do that. I would like to read that one. I don't guarantee it. I am very primitive and do not read as much as they might think I do! And I too have remained with only a few readers. I like "meeting" them and interacting, I guess so. It's a Sub-tack thing, ya know? Call us the "subslimers"

wasn't the destruction of oil wells by burning the oil in them something that occurred in Kuwait itself? Otherwise, G. Israhell's Newsletter makes good sense but I wanted to clarify that. In the article, does the author actually state where the burning oil wells were? It is an important issue. Also, the state propaganda apparatus was at a lesser degree of sophistication, in like, 2003 or whenever. As of now, there are only a few independent voices, such as Mr. Hersch. I would just like to clarify whether the oil wells were in Iraq or Kuwait. but even if in Iraq, Saddam, knowing he was finished, could have done that? Anyways, the world thanks Israhell for this great writing

"wasn't the destruction of oil wells by burning the oil in them something that occurred in Kuwait itself?"

I agree that there is a world of difference between oil wells being burned in Kuwait vs. ditto in Iraq. Who actually made them into gigantic Bic lighters we will probably never know. It could be US troops wanting to make Sadam Hussein bad, or it could actually be Iraqi troops.

I feel like I'm getting into a little rabbit hole here

Just about everything the US is involved in outside its borders is a rabbit hole. For one, more than ten years ago the US armed forces in Syria began stealing oil there.

Problem: How does one tell the world?

Yes, that is actually the question of the century, and I don't have the answer beyond doing what I do here on on Substack.
